Throughout my life I have always noted cycles within myself changing along side the seasons. I go from spring where I blossom and bud into a bright pretty flower full of endearing hopes and vibrant energy. Then comes summer! Alas the sun shines and we all play! Fall time is by far my favorite season because it gives way to much change and we settle back into our routines and pick up our schedules. Winter is for the bears and cuddling up to someone you love and beat the blues and cold together.
My piece above I painted on streched canvas using arcrillic paints with various tools, including my fingers! I have always been fascinated with the moon, given it is in constant rotation bearing four faces. This painting represents a major transition in my life and has a earie undertone. The girl represents letting go of my past burdens and troubles and signifies the understanding that you cannot change some things or always have control of each situation. Therefore you must let it go...out into the universe thus allowing oneself peace and closure.
